Christ,
May Your face
shine upon us, and may You guide our feet into the way of peace. We pray that
you will bless us and our families during the wonderful months of summer. May
all of us help to make our homes places of relaxation, joy, love, peace and safety. May we be generous and considerate, not thinking
only about ourselves but helping others enjoy the
blessings of the summertime.
Our school has
shared many things this year. We were linked by common tasks and time together.
Keep each of us in your care during the summer and throughout our lives. Guide
our steps and strengthen our hearts until we gather once again in Your kingdom. We ask this through Christ, Our Lord. Amen

A Personal Word of Thanks...
Thank you for your support and modeling to your child the beauty of
our faith and stressing with them the importance of them doing their best
academically. Your faithfulness to Our Lord is the most important gift
that you can give to your child. You are responsible to be the first teacher of
their Faith. Be faithful and Be proud to be
Catholic! Kids get too many mixed
messages. It is important that you are
modeling to them the best possible faith practice. Best wishes for a safe and
enjoyable vacation. Please know that I will be praying for each and every one
of you and look forward to seeing you at Church throughout the summer. We will
be readying our school for the next school year, feel free to call and
volunteer. The more help the better. As you know, many hands make light work.

Summer Reading Requirement
Parents of students entering Grade P-8 for the 2008-2009
School Year ….Please take note that your child’s Summer Packet is
enclosed…Please keep it in a safe place…If you do misplace it…it will be on the
web site for your convenience! It is
highly encouraged that the children have a copy of their book as they will also
use it in class in the new school year!

We will be having an Award Ceremony
prior to our closing Mass@ 9am at St. Lawrence dismissal

follow ...approximately 10:30am... NO EXTENDED CARE!
The 2008-2009 school year will begin on Tuesday,
August 26th, 2008 for Grades 1-8
The 3 days of school will be full days...please provide your child with a lunch!
There will be no school on
Fri Aug 29 and Mon Sept 1
Pre3/Pre4/Gr K
will have assigned orientation days on Aug 27 and 28th!

Summer Homework
I personally urge you to be faithful to the gospel message… we have a
wonderful gift that has been passed on
from one generation to another… our gift of faith…please…practice your faith
daily with your child and please bring your child to Church.
